Manifest (O.S.I.)

Hi all,

This is written for O.S.I. This poem comes from a deep, spiritual place.

Bearer of all things good
You manifest like sun
Rising, radiant June
Casting darkness beneath you
I bow in your embrace
Longing to see your face

May Gratitude

Hi all,

Here are the countless blessings I have been keeping in my daily journal. I hope you all enjoy the Memorial weekend.

Warm sunlight pouring through the window
Dust particles swirling in the light
God is ever present and unchanging
New, unexpected joys of life
The wind in all its sweeping power
Old, familiar faces
A place to call home
An old memory can burst me into smiles
God is shelter in the rain
I never walk alone
Spring rain to replenish the earth
Conversations from the heart
Hard lessons make you stronger
Each day is the beginning of new experiences
Turning the page and writing a different ending

New Morning (Sky Watch)

When I gaze into the sun, I am reminded of the hope of morning. Every morning gives us the opportunity to start over and begin again.

Sun pregnant with hope
Chases away dark sorrows
Light full of promise

Hope you enjoy the skies in your neighborhood.

Truth in Rain

Yesterday's rain showers inspired this poem in me:

Truth
Is in the rain
That dries her tears
Upon the earth

Her wet eyes
Mixes with brown
And green leaves sprout
Where rain soaks down

Showers in the eve
Tear drops on leaves
Cold wet truth
Patters softly
Downpour truth

Rambling (O.S.I.)

Hi all,

This poem is written for O.S.I. This week's theme is rambling.

Us
Rambling
Foolish hearts
Sitting real tall
Shooting with the wind
Riding the morning sun
Chasing our stilted shadows
Following children after dark
Drinking in summer’s endless nights

Up
Rambling
The dawn laughs
Wet, new morning
Rain showers soak us
Dancing feet in couplets
Embracing the body of time
Riding on the surprise of love
Living and loving and rambling on

Our Paradise

Hi all,

I've been away from blogging a few days, and I'm so glad to share my latest poem with all of you:

We owe ourselves nothing
Except the pleasure
Of joy and silence
Wrapped in our blanket
Of darkened stars

Or we can kiss
The edges of the moon
Gaze reverential
Into each other's eyes
Relax in the pool
Of our paradise

Heal (Haiku Heights)

Hi all,

I've written a pair of haikus for Haiku Heights. This week's word is heal.

Time’s friendly face yearns
To heal the broken fragments
Of a lonely heart

Joy knocks and enters
Extends her hand lovingly
Reach out…her touch heals
