I've written a pair of haikus for Haiku Heights. The theme this week is urn.
Burn in morning light
Ashes pour out in the wind
Spirit of the earth
The urn casts shadow
Of memory and love peaks
In a timeless song

Both of these haiku have beautiful, haunting images. I especially like the second one, with its hopeful last line.
