Adventures With Cecelia and Kim (Pt II)

A few months back, I posted the crazy adventure of my friend "Kim" and I on our trip to the art exhibit. Our latest adventures took us up the Hudson and in the beautiful town of Irvington. The view of the Hudson is so exquisite you forget you are in New York.

On Sunday, we visited the home of Washington Irving, credited as being the first author to make a career in writing. His most notable works include Rip Van Winkle, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, and A History of New York. In addition to being a literary treasure, Irving was well travelled, owned thousands of book in his library collection, and loved to dance (my favorite part). We visited his home in Sunnyside.
