Melding sunset upon your face
Blues, reds, gold of light
Time itself sweetened by your embrace
Laughter in the hours of daylight

Melding your poetry after dark
Syllables rise, rhythm sparks
Lay awhile under the stars
Chasing shadows however far

Melding imagination in the wind
Thoughts loose like rolling skies
Swept upon the bed of dreams
Awakened on the knees of sunrise
