Here are a pair of haikus written for Haiku Heights. The theme this week is quench. Hope you enjoy.

Drench in water…bathe
Satisfy dry yesterdays
Joy in rivers deep

Lips quenched by the rain
Dew drops cascade as blue dreams
Wake in heaven’s stream
