Hi all,
I am writing this poem for O.S.I. and the theme is black & white.
Too young to know the wind tickles
Or bask in the warmth of other suns
Too young to feel the touch of mama
Or the lick of a puppy's tongue
Too young to hear the sound of music
Have its meaning escape from her breath
To leap when papa extends his hands
Or lean against him when she's sad
To freeze and shiver in icy cold
Or kiss the first December snow
But one night she glanced upon the stars
White diamonds blinking in the black beyond
And smiled as the perfect pair
Illuminated her mind and heart

It is a magical moment, to awaken to such beauty.
Never too young to see true beauty, true love, White Girl!
Really nice, W.G. It reminds me of when our younger daughter at around four first got her grasses.
We were out walking and she stopped and said, "look, Daddy, I can see the man on the moon."
..
beautiful words....love it!!
too magical to be praised in words... loved it to the core <3
