Wrong (O.S.I.)

Hi all,

I have been away from O.S.I. so I am happy to share a creative poem with all of you.

Right was calling me sweetly
In the direction of its voice
Though I could not perceive its face
In a sea of shouts and noise

Lo I took the stairs
And there the sun gazed down on me
Through a smiling corner window
Yet the voice grew fainter
Calling me ever sweetly

My youth frayed like a scarf
Taking direction west and east
And I looking back
Could not retrace my path
Where did I go wrong

A very nice poem with quick action and a veiled meaning.. I stepped into your poet's shoes and delightfully followed Right's call as good as she. We both got lost.

Then I woke up and found it was a dream; a dream that I could not repeat even though I wanted to have it again so badly; and a dream for which I would forever try to discover the meaning of.

Sometimes it is hard to find the right path in sea of noise and confusion. So much static drowning out the truth.

I loved that! The last stanza really resonates with me- "youth frayed like a scarf...can't retrace the path..." so very true- you can't go back regardless of who/what is calling. Welcome back- by the way!!!
