Bathing (O.S.I.)

Hi all,

I've been away for too long!  Here is a poem for O.S.I. and the theme is bathing.

A swallow's song
Awakes me from my sleep
It flutters deep in my heart
Bathes me in its serenity
A song on broken wings
A deep and beautiful sting
Lifting the psalms of my soul
Resting after a long journey

I agree as I have been missing you!

I like this poem, you are soooo poetic, you seem to have a sweet poetic spirit that comes out in your writing.

The part about the song on broken wings reminded me of a very tame begger bird I met on a ledge down town in one of the Canary Islands. He had lost both feet and was standing with stubs that were sort of flat like.

I would like to write a poem about him. At least he didn't have broken wings and could fly. I though I had a picture of him but when I got back to the boat to look for him that was one of the pictures that didn't take.
