Free (O.S.I.)

Hi all,

I am writing the following poem for O.S.I. and the theme is free.

Time passes me by
I keep waiting for his call
Dipping into dreams
Long, dark corridors
Light escaping through glass
Sadness weighs on my shoulders
Like a heavy, cruel companion
As memories wilt
Into twilight
Yet a dream revives me
I have hawk eyes
And triumphant wings
That stretches out to eternity
I break free

Breaking free may be painful, but sometimes that's the best thing to do !!!

Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful...
The waiting can be long and weary,
but the important things you learn
sbout yourself is freeing {:

Oh, that breaking free! Not easy. Your poem touches my heart.

It is simple, but not easy - this is what I feel from this expression.

Nice poem, W.G. I do hope those 'hawk eyes' keep on working for the writer. :)
And keep those wings strong!!!
