Words In Autumn

Hi all,

I wrote a new freestyle poem.  I hope you enjoy.

Crisp, autumn leaves
Cascading, falling
They remind me of old friends
Saying hello again
The crunch of earth beneath
Is like a warm hello
And they dress so beautifully
Lavish themselves in gold
Flaunt red coats
Masquerade in brown, earth tones
I am a wallflower
Blending into their colorful world
Then the wind carries them away
Leaving tree limbs bashful and naked
