Crater (O.S.I.)

Hi all,

I am late posting but nonetheless inspired by this week's prompt at O.S.I.

Dipped in white
A stunning moon
Swims about
The galaxy

Its immensity
Engulfs the universe
By its splendor

Craters are beauty marks
Endless and deep
Its history hidden

Find a space
Mark your place
On the moon

It's beautiful, W.G! I was thinking of a pockmark-faced lover until the last verse. Strange were minds can go. I think the 'beauty marks' aspect set me off thinking of the agony that usually goes with those indentions.

I tease but back when I worked at NASA (I was an aerospace engineer in flight control where the action was) I volunteered to my immediate supervisor to go to the moon. We both knew I couldn't and so that request ended there.

Thank you for using the prompt so nicely. I enjoyed your work, as always, with it a lot.
