Strings in Three Haikus

Hi all,

I have written three haikus for Haiku Heights. The theme this week is strings.

May I take your strings
Unravel them from each hook
Pry open your heart

Almost free of strings
Bid the world a last goodbye
A home in the sky

Down the string of love
How you swing with joy to me
Open wide my heart

Wow!! The last line in the first haiku itself caught my thoughts!! Amazing..
The second one is purely spiritual and well woven choice of words..
All of them were pure and well portrayed!

Reminded me of the Kite flying festivals!! :)
The romantic incline is still there!!

The second one had such a deep spirituality to it, and yes, it also had a playfulness of a flying kite, like Nanka said! :) Loved all three!

Thank you for the support to Haiku Heights through the first year :) Looking forward to enjoying more of your haikus next year too!
