Balloon (O.S.I.)

Hi all,

I am writing the following for O.S.I. and the theme is balloon.

He was a quiet man that longed to gaze at azure skies
And did so frequently that his eyes turned blue
Found his nights so lonely, he whispered to the stars
And confided in clouds his wildest dreams
So the man of azure eyes pondered and schemed
How he could ascend beyond these earthly beings
A street vendor promised flight on angel's wings
A woman praised her magic carpet's quality
A boy swore by roots in the Orient
An eagle begged to carry him to his lament
Then the man with quiet azure eyes gazed up
And found a large balloon as bright as sun
Hopped aboard before they could protest
And found his home in the heaven's at last

Very nice! You kept my faith in your, W.G! I knew that somehow this man would ascend to the clouds.
O for this large balloon coming for me on some days.

Beautiful; there's a wonderful beat to this one and I love the repetition of azure in where the words flow.
