Struggle (O.S.I.)

Hi all,

I am writing the following poem for O.S.I.  The theme is struggle.

You smile
Meet me
In this space
Of time
Where the heart reaches
Ceases to struggle
And unfurl
The white glove
To be kissed

You smile
Humble me
Make me shudder
Blush pink
Sprint and leap
Into a dream
That's filled with light

You smile
And I remember
My innocence
Becoming full
Like the moon
Sweeter to drink
Falling in love
With you

Very nice, W.G. I've been on both ends of this poem, have you not? Most times I smile at ones of the opposite sex if they look my way. Sometimes they smile first.

Then what? I should write my poem. Maybe I will. It involves another smile, it could be slight, and perhaps a wink to lighten things up. And often a heart or two that end up going pit a pat.

I hope you are okay for all those Northeastern storms with Sandy and all. And thank you for your nice comment on my OSI struggle.

The love and joy and energy of this make my day at the same time they change my perspective on life and on myself. I wish for that spontaneity. Nevertheless, the memory as I feel it through your poem is like a spring rain.
