Language

Language
Barrier of tongues
Syllables unravelling
Coming undone
Foreign lips
Foreign customs
Bow or stand
Eyes averted
Or direct
Use of hands
Or arms
Embrace
Fallen fragments
Tower of Babel
Cascading like
Shooting stars
Unravel my
Language

Love this subject for a poem! Language can be so liberating or frustrating depending on the listener's background or receptiveness. I think you captured very well the complexity of true communication through language. I love your word choice too.

Oh what a great post. I couldn't agree more with this..sometimes it feels like we're trapped in this barrier..doesn't it seem that way? I mean there are so many things to wade through and then, like you illustrated here- the body language! Amazing! Well done too-
Hope you have a peaceful late evening your way-
