Hi bloggers,
This week's O.S.I. prompt is vicarious.
Freedom from gravity
Height redefined
Enraptured with flight
A dot along the skyline
Tight roping between buildings
Space walking on earth's ceiling
In orbit, rounding the sun
Her imagination whirled and spun
Testing waters didn't jive
She'd take a dive and live vicarious

hey pretty write girl this poem of yours
makes me want to soar into the sky and pluck
out a couple of hundred stars.
luv your imagination.
Really really smooth- nice job..I like this a lot Katina! I agree with the poster above!
what a way to go vicarious...:)
i love free-verse writing too, but i get the high of trying sonnets and villanelle, too..quite challenging!
thanks for your visit in my place!
This poem made me feel like I was free falling with trust that everything is going to be ok...Love it :)
I needed this today!
Did you ever want to do something that you couldn't sooooo badly? I hope that dive doesn't harm your poet.
I can think of dive as in doing something to enhance the senses or a deep, deep, dive from which there is no coming up.
..
