I Have A Dream

Hi all,

This poem is dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his awe inspiring legacy. May we find ways to pursue freedom, understanding, and peace.

Stream of humanity
Blood and sweat, he toiled
In the mind, he conceived
A dream birthed in love

In the highest courts of freedom
Marching in triumphant victory
In our hearts we speak
I have a dream

Bravo..loved this piece- a fine dedication today! May we do just that. No matter how hard or how bad things look, it's good to remember the progress because of people like him. If we could just remember to do our part (Hugs)

Thank you for your tribute to Dr. King, Thank
God for the dreamers, now if we can just wake,
wake up and live, work, realize its reality.

Your finger is on the pulse of time...

A wonderful tribute, Katina. Every year I appreciate Dr. King in a deeper and deeper way.

I would have loved to have walked on that cold day with him to the Pettus Bridge in Selma.
..
BTW, I finally wrote a little ditty for OSI, Carnival.
