Incandescent (O.S.I.)

Hi all,
I am posting this for O.S.I. and the theme is incandescent. I used the poetic form etheree.

Sun
Smiling
With fervor
Incandescent
Rays of tangerine
Sweet summers in the sky
Dripping light caresses arms
Waves iridescent shimmer bright
Ponder universe between our eyes
The world in our fingertips full of light

What a beautiful verse! Just what I needed on a gloomy winter's day- a splash of sunlight! Also- loved the poetry form- I have never heard of it and enjoyed learning something new!

Rays of tangerine indeed... I have some photos similar to this... I think I should start contributing... how have you been?!

WG, you are soooooo clever! And such a lovely poem full of feelings alluding to the natural sunlight.

I am not participating this week because I am one the road. I might write from here for next week. I had thoughts for this time; if I had I planned to use an internal rhyme also using the word iridescent.

I looked at http://www.shadowpoetry.com/resources/wip/etheree.html. They sound like fun to do. I may try them sometime.
