B & W With A Splash of Color

Hi Skywatchers,

Here is a view of the old world in black and white. I have stepped into another time and place. The old world has a million stories to tell. I lean back and listen.

Then, a splash of color makes everything new and inviting. The new world dazzles me in art and splendor. I recognize friends who speak the same language. I am finally home.

Happy Sky Watch!!

How different the photos look in B&W vs. color! The B&W ones look very restful, as well as vintage, while the color ones (especially the handsome painted wall) appear fresh and full of vibrant energy.

Your city sky looks clear and blue! I hope that means it's no longer so hot and humid there, and that you're enjoying beautiful summer days!

Thank you for stopping by my blog and taking the time to leave your comment! Have a great weekend!

It is interesting how the black and white show the rawness, and the color does make a difference...

What a difference a brushstroke of color can make. I liked the atmosphere in the b&w's as well as your willingness to listen to the stories. Nicely done!
