Jazz Paradise

Hi bloggers,

I am excited to pen a couple of poems over at Sunday Scribblings and Carpe Diem.

Sounds of music notes
Drift with its jazz-like face full
Of a newborn glow

And the trumpeter
Lulls lovers to dance free in
Bluesy paradise

These are nicely done - I've never really come to grips with Haiku and am impressed by those who do.

I love how haiku can adapt to the writer and the writer to the form. I particularly liked the 'lulls lovers' and 'bluesy paradise'.

Takes me back to the days of dingy smoke filled basement jazz bars - ah, happy days!

Love the music of your words and how neatly these two fit together.
