Calmed (O.S.I.)

Hi all,

Here is my first poem of the New Year. This is written for O.S.I. and the theme this week is calmed. I have written this poem in Sedoka form.

Where prayer flows, lips meet
Wisdom answers in due time
Glory raining in blue skies

Calmed in new sunrise
Gentle in speech, soft and meek
Answers flood an open heart

You've set the bar high for this years poetry. I love this! So true that when we are calm, the answers can come to us.

Ya, I liked this too- again, including the link was helpful. Very interesting! Much wisdom (I have to agree with the above poster)- sharp- "answers flood an open heart"..great start to the New Year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR KATINA !!! :)

I like your Sedoka. You are very brave in trying new forms. Your Sedoka completes the cycle very nicely, prayer, slow answer-wisdom to prayer, and finally a flood of answers to the prayer.

It was a remote controlled helicopter. It was quite small about two feet long.

It looks like winter.
