Accidental (O.S.I.)

Hi all,

This poem is written for O.S.I. and the theme this week is accidental.

Unbridled tongue
Heated words
Was it accidental?
Unravelling from your lips
Incendiary speech
Purely accidental?
Kindling fires
Raging wars
Merely accidental?
Leaving scars
On my soul
Unaccidental

Nicely done, as always! Isn't it a shame that sometimes those accidental words are the ones we remember the most and the best? Thank you so much for the kind words you left on my post- they are very appreciated!

The only point on which I agree with Freud--there are no accidents. Touching. Love and life can be brutal.

Hi, I found you via Kelly's Write With Pictures.

I love this poem. I describes moments we have all been through, I think.

Best wishes,
Mervat

Unintentional perhaps, accidental, never.
I like your word, unaccidental. :)
