Feather (Haiku)

Hi all,

I am writing a pair of haikus for Haiku Heights. The theme this week is feather.

Could you be ever
Lighter and follow the wind
As feathers off course

If the heavy heart
Sheds her old feathers she shall
Discover new love

I like these a lot...I like the second especially...to shed the pain of a heavy heart to fly toward love again

Two great haiku. The second one is my favourite, great image of the heavy heart shedding old feathers.
