Naked (O.S.I.)

Hi all,

I am writing the following poem for O.S.I. and the theme is naked.

One vulnerable day
The naked earth
Covered herself
In lush, green leaves
To hide her beauty
From the sun
Though his love
Never waned
As he grew distant
In a winter sky
And when he returned
During the bloom of spring
The earth birthed children
And named them sunflowers

Love the idea of the earth covering herself in leaves.

Leaves of no leaves, the sun's love remains. I enjoyed the concept of sunflower children, and esp appreciate your choice of "waned", a word we more readily hear in regard to the moon.

Solid write throughout. Kudos!
