Sky Watch Friday: Rush Hour

These photos are a compilation of commuter shots on the train rides home. I really wish I lived somewhere more exotic. You can catch a glimpse of the sky and the trains passing by.

Rush hour
Faces sour
Footsteps scurry
Crowds hurry
Clouds lounging
In sapphire skies
Gazing on the world below

Can sense there was some movement of the train on the 3rd photo. Beautiful frames.

Great photos and I love the poetry on your blog too, they really do go hand in hand.
Trust me on this...you DO live somewhere exotic , to most of the world! I am out in Southern California and life here is Hum Drum sometimes but I know that most of the world would like to be here where I am everyday. NYC has a lot to offer that we cannot touch .
There was another Skywatch view of the Brooklyn Toys R Us today! I loved it because I have been in that exact store!
What a small world we really live in.
Keep up the writing !

I like the motion of the trains and always your words. I hope your doing better too! I've never been to the East Coast..and I imagine it would be a blast. I don't know what I'd do with myself? Anyway, hope you have a wonderful weekend-

You managed to get three very different types of cloud. But don't ask me the names of them!

I have lived in cities all my life. This summer, I am in rural Michigan. I feel like I am in a new world and enjoying every minute of it;"commuteless" if you will.

To some rural dwelling folk, those pictures ARE exotic :)

Have a great weekend!

i may have to retire, as i remember waking in my sleep last night and getting an excellent view of the clouds (o.k. wasn't technically night anymore), opening my eyes and thinking, 'oh, lovely, I should get my camera' and then dozing back to sleep....

point in case, your sky watch brings a conscienteiousness to the world above me, thanks for that! :)

You don´t need to live in any exotic place, these were just brilliant catches from everyday life. you rshort poem was really enjoyable too with sapphire skies.

This is exotic to me - everything is subtly different to commuter life in the UK.
