Preponderance (O.S.I.)

Hi bloggers,

This poem is written for O.S.I. The theme for this week is preponderance. My poem is a creative twist on the word:

His ascension
In the doorway
Of my heart
Burns like the sun
Upon blue sheets
The heart skips a beat
Rapturous gaze on me
His gravitational laugh
Echoes out into the vast
Walls of present, future, and past

Nice, W.G. I could read in 'Jim' instead of 'preponderance' and my heart would go pitty-pat!
