Gold (O.S.I.)

Here is my abstract take on gold:

The outer darkness peeling his mind
Only the gold from her necklace
Flickered to greet him
Like sunlight on a darkened canvas
Her frame lit like a vase
The artful illumination
Of shadows in the glint of gold
Morphed like angelic beings
Her molten liquid ambiance
Met his lips
He took a drink

All he saw was her gold! Even to the point of consuming her, he only saw the gold now glorified with angelic qualities.
..
Question (rhetorical), what does the gold symbolize?

Touching!

PS, I wouldnt hit you in the roads LOL...I am just saying if its snow and ice on the streets, if I stop I will be stuck or slid out of control so pedestrians need to realize that...
