Snowmageddon is a relatively new term used to describe this year's winter storms. It certainly embodies Mother Nature's brutal assault on the East Coast. She has unleashed a big helping of February fury. Here are some shots from yesterday's storm.

Good luck digging out. I have a friend stranded in Washington DC by this storm. You should save the pictures as this may be the biggest storm ever there.
I love the snow on the fence. lovely!
I think that's entirely too much snow for one region to endure, for sure! I'm so sorry you all have to deal w/ it.
Be careful & great shots!
Thanks so much for the comment - Much appreciated!
I think these are gorgeous! Hopefully the mountains will be full of snow pretty soon! I'm actually looking forward to it! ha ha!! I can't wait!! Serious- but I know others can't or don't feel the same. Anyway..great shots! Stay warm-
beautiful -- but maybe too much of a good thing!
oh my, that is a lot of snow.. quite beautiful pics.. but hope it doesn't disrupt life! :)
I could only see the first pic for some reason...but I feel your pain here! I posted a couple of shots on my page too of this mess..
The sight is always good, but last night i went to dig my car out and my thing broke so i went in my trunk for my tennis rocket and used it, i had no gloves on and i wall fine, or so i though until i went back inside and realise my fingers were all swollen.
Just lovely!
Great winter scenes.
