Moment (O.S.I.)

Good morning
Rings in my ear
Like a church bell

I wrestle with my heart
A poem aching to sing
Though it coils from my reach

If I abandon
The barefoot muse
Walking on my floor

Would she return
With open arms
Breathing her light

I pause in silence
In the moment
Waiting, hoping

Written for O.S.I.

...And in that silence she sneaks in!

Lovely poem.

Beautiful, W.G. Here is hoping that muse walks your poet's way. I am pulling hard for that.

Very effective. Do or die. (Or as Yoda says: "Do or do not; there is no try.")
