My Country (Acrostic)

Here is another lovely prompt from Amias at Acrostic Only

Molded in Godly faces
Yearning on new shores

Cradling arms Lady Liberty
Opens her peaceful borders
Ushering the masses onward
Nostalgic for clearer waters
Tasting freedom on lips
Receding sorrows and pasts
Yesteryears embrace new hope

Your way with words is spellbinding. Wonderful!

I like this, but I was hoping to read about your "personal" country ... this is why I put the word "my" in front of country. Still, Judith is right, your words can be spellbinding.

I really liked this one. You could have taken it so many ways but you made it "stand alone" and not just as an acrostic. Loved it!
