Enigma (O.S.I.)

She watched him
His eyes dark
His collar turned up
The white in his eyes
A brilliant moon
The shadow
Of his breath

Drifting near her lips
Husband she asked
But he turned away
His eyes drowning
In water
He shifted in darkness
Face turning, quiet
Smiling with a kiss
She watched him
An enigma

A clever enigma Katina..nicely done. I also thought your review for The Help was excellent.. and looks interesting.

Can't figure him out, huh? Sometimes, that is refreshing.

Nice enigmatic vignette. We never do quite fully understand even (or especially) those closest to us.
