(Yesterday, New York was greeted with 10 inches of snow in early March. Winter's last hurrah!)
A march in snow
Crinkles your toes and nose
Frosty white blankets the ground
And rests like clouds
While angels nestle
In mountains of snow
Children rise in delight
And send their sleighs aflight
Snowballs hurl in rapid fire
And ice cling on rooftops like claws
The sky is illuminated a silvery gray
And the wind in a furious rustle
Orchestrates white confetti
Settling like sugar on your tongue

Sounds beautiful! You've captured quite a scene. "The sky is illuminated a silvery gray
And the wind in a furious rustle
Orchestrates white confetti.." Must be cozy looking out! It's got to be different in the city and much to do. I bet there are mixed feelings about it. Is that your lani? Pretty-
I have never witnessed a snowfall. Well, your lines gave me a glimpse. Thank you!!!
Wow, what a beautiful way to describe snow! I love how you described snow as white confetti. Your poem brought back many memories of taking my own children sledding in the snow and brought a smile to my face. Thanks for sharing your poem and for stopping by my blog!

You literally painted the picture with your words. To a Pakistani, who has never witnessed a snowfall this was a delight!
